I am a resident of the Forks of Patuxent. Our community, Forks of the Patuxent Improvement Association, is in the process of trying to prevent Two Rivers Developers from adding an additional 377 homes to their already planned community of 2060 homes. If built, these homes would generate a lot of additional traffic which will merge at the circle at Conway Rd, Meyers Station Rd and Patuxent Road. Conway Road past the circle and Meyers Station Road are both one way in and out. For those of us who live in the area, we do not need or want any additional traffic heading out and onto Route 3 as this will add to the congestion and already failing intersection at Conway Rd and Route 3.
Two Rivers Developers has a covenant with the Forks of the Patuxent Improvement Association that runs with the land which does not allow them to build any more than 2060 homes. Two Rivers Developers are claiming the community breached the covenant and they want this legal and binding document to go away so they can build the additional homes.
